Chakavak Orchestra Biography

“Chakavak Grand Orchestra” was registered in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in 1377, and its activity was officially under the supervision and leadership of Mr. Reza Shayesteh (Director in charge of “Avay Chakvak School of Music“, and member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Teachers, and a continuous member of the Association of Musicians Iran’s Music House) started with the aim of keeping Iran’s famous national works alive.

As the largest private orchestra in the country, during its 25 years of operation, Chakavak Orchestra has held many performances in Vahdat Hall, Milad Tower, Art District and participated in different periods of Fajr International Music Festival, House of Music Festival, as well as radio and television channels. 4 video albums titled Chakavak 1, Chakavak2, Chakavak3 and Chakavak4 related to the concerts of the Chakavak Orchestra have been published and made available to those interested in authentic Iranian music after receiving a performance license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and registration in the National Library of Iran.

Chakavak Orchestra’s honors include receiving numerous certificates of appreciation from the great masters of the country’s music, the relevant officials of the country, playing the video album Chakavak 4 as a successful music album on the evening news of Sima network 1, and live performing in a TV show called “Ta Juma”, and also the presence of the conductor and singer of the orchestra in the “Suggested Package” program of Sima network 2, and, and performance in the TV program “25 o’clock” of Sima network 5, and the live program of “Simaye Khanevadeh”, the appearance of the live program of “Emrouziha” and numerous performances in The live programs of Jam Jam Global Network pointed out.
